Corporate Experience Chicago- 2009

12/19/2009

The last day of our trip first consisted of a trip to Hamburger University and Komatsu. Hamburger University is a management training facility established by McDonald’s restaurant to train the franchise owners and managers. We watched a very interesting video about McDonald’s history and we were able to see historic McDonald’s memorabilia. After our visit to Hamburger University, we traveled to Rolling Meadows, Illinois to visit Komatsu. We were hosted by another Culver-Stockton Alum, Jenkins Davis. He treated us to lunch and then we discussed Komatsu’s product line. We learned about Komtrax, Komatsu’s new line of technology that gives feedback to distributors from the machine. Mr. Davis treated us to a great day and we were all very grateful for his generosity. After an exciting second day, we boarded the train and returned home to C-SC!
